Dinah posing with the beautiful little Louie. He's with his Daddy now...
Little Louie, also shown with my husband playing with him with a stuffed toy, the connection to the world for me since Carroll died, had to be put to sleep today. I'm devastated and horrified that I have to go through yet more grief.
He was diagnosed with renal disease and his kidneys were shot. His liver was starting to show disease as well. The vet said that he would not get better--only worse--and that he was now suffering.
So I had to make that choice for him.
And it's nearly killed me.
Prayers welcome, please.

Five More Years
My closing with Carroll and my thoughts. There are a few mistakes in the voice--I just couldn't do any better at this horrible time.

Carroll's telephone voice--so we don't forget...
Should anyone care to support charities that Carroll cared about, he was passionate about Tunnels to Towers and Wounded Warriors. Both have high rates of donations that go directly to the cause. Wounded Warriors: 100% and Tunnels to Towers 93%.

Mary Gasparo, a dear friend of mine, animal communicator, and fellow paranormal investigator died yesterday (June 2023). This, just three months after my husband died in March, was so devastating, I can hardly believe it. She was totally well and happy—I'd talked with her the day before and we were making plans to talk later in the week once she'd gotten back from a trip she'd planned the next day.
I'm so happy I talked with her, but now my mood has gone to the dark side. She was taken too soon, and it had to be a mistake. Sigh. Anyway, love to her and her family always—including her wonderful fur babies on either side of the veil.
You'll always be in my heart Mary. It won't be too terribly long before I catch up to you. Don't get into any trouble until I get there.
For Mary, my dear friend.
A Tribute and Testimony to friendship.
RIP, and don't get into any trouble till I get there.

One of the people who made the paranormal world great was the wonderful Rosemary Ellen Guiley. It was with shock that I heard of her death on July 18. The loss to the paranormal community and the world in general is paramount.
I was so excited and honored that she'd chosen my paranormal romance novel (Three Months to Change) to be her debut publication for her new paranormal romance line at Visionary Living Publishing. It was one of the highlights of my professional career working with her and her lovely sister Linda. She allowed me to be in every part of the process and … well she was just so damn nice! And now a wonderful woman has been taken too soon from those who loved her. I'd like to wish her family and friends love and blessings, along with the strength to get through until we can see her again. Rest in peace, dear Rosemary. |
