Schiffer Publishing
After 15 years at Schiffer as an editor, I retired in 2020. It was difficult for me to do because I loved my position there and all the authors I was blessed to work with. It's where I learned the "ghost ropes" with The Chester County Paranormal Research Society and became accustomed to things that raged in the paranormal world. Ghost investigating became a passion that led to alien investigation, and that's where my current interests lie. (I guess it's not a bad thing to be a conspiracy theorist after all since the government finally admitted that we are not alone!)
The reasoning behind my leaving, though, as those of you who know me will testify to, was that my health was deteriorating in a variety of ways. Of course, this was in the height of the COVID pandemic and ... well, it was just time. For a while I worked at home, but even that became problematic. (Those authors I did not communicate this personally to, please forgive me.) I truly fell off the map for a year—and unfortunately, things are still not like they should be.
But Schiffer is actively accepting submissions and can be reached according to their guidelines below. Please do send in your submissions because this is "our time."
I say all of the above to let you know that I will be doing some edititorial work for Schiffer remotely on a part time basis now! I began in June 2023 and will be working with RedFeather's mind/body/spirit titles as well as my tried and true paranormal and UFO projects! I'm excited to get back into the swing of things! Contact me if you have an idea for a nonfiction book!
