About D. P. Roseberry

I absolutely cannot pass up the opportunity to see a bad (or good, or great!) creature  horror movie from the 50s (and later!) or read a book with snarling teeth on the front of the cover!  My favorite 50s movie is probably The Crawling Eye.  Aliens comes in number two.  And I love everything written by Ben Eden and A. B. Wallace  (for horror) and Doug Boren for historical mainstream and young adult!!

My television rarely leaves the Sci Fi Channel (except to watch Torchwood) and you will even see me at local science fiction or horror  conventions giving lectures or readings, buying strange items, attending seminars, or generally gawking at visiting actors and authors.  (There is hope for me, though.  I have not resorted to wearing a Star Trek uniform -- the world is just not ready for me  wearing one.   I do have a couple costumes, though, that scare the heck out of the neighborhood kids on Halloween!)
