You might be wondering why I've named my blog such a strange thing, and why such a lovely doll graces the page. It's actually a running line though my new paranormal romance. My heroine does not like to be called Doll. But does that stop "him"? Of course not.
Nothing stops me either. Not that anyone calls me doll! Still, there are annoyances in daily life that often make me (or anyone I assume) scream, "Don't do that!"
A big one for me is running lawn mowers early Saturday mornings. I get up early Monday to Friday to work. Saturday I like to sleep in. Not all the time, but sometimes it's nice. Just until around 9 a.m. Then have at it. Crank those mowers up. But heck, starting at 7 or 8 a.m. is loud for me. I know you want to get it over with and on with your day because...well, I know it's all about you. But gee...
Anyway, what makes YOU want to say, "Don't do that?"
Sunday: I came back to this blog to adjust it. It's not Saturday. I did get to sleep in yesterday. My neighbor however, at 9 a.m. this morning started mowing his small lawn. It's now 10:45 am and he's still at it. It should take him a half hour. I don't like early morning mowing on Sunday any better than Saturday... The neighborhood is quiet as a mouse—except for that mower. Close the windows and crank up the TV.
