Ghost
Books
As an acquisitions
editor and author for Schiffer Publishing, I've become even more
interested in ghosts than I was before. (Is that possible?) Something
that's been new to me over the past couple years is the actual
investigation of the phenomena as opposed to my prior life where
I just
read about ghostly phenomena or
watched it on television. My day
is
filled with discussions
with paranormal investigators,
authors, and
mind/body/spirit
people from around the country.
I love it! (Speaking of
which, if you're reading this page
and think you might like to do some
writing about
ghosts in varied regions of the country,
email me at
dinah@schifferbooks.com.
I'd like to hear what you have to say.)
My ghost books for Schiffer:
Ghosts of Valley Forge and Phoenixville, Cape May Haunts, and
Spooky York Pennsylvania, are available at the
Schiffer Books Website and your local book stores!
(As a sneak peak, check out
the cool EVP I got during my research in
Cape May at Elaines Haunted Mansion. It's now poste on the Chester County Paranormal
Research Society
EVP page! You'll
be amazed! It's a Class A EVP .) Click on each book of my ghost books
below to learn more about the haunts.

One of my favorite ghost sites is
Ghost Village. Read
my interview by author and reviewer Lee Prosser!
Now
don't forget, too, that I have a fantastic regional ghost story out
there in the acclaimed Travel Guide to the Haunted Mid Atlantic! It
takes place in the feared Reymeyer's Hollow in haunted York County,
Pennsylvania. The story behind this tale
is featured in Spooky
York PA.

*****************(My Ghostly Talent?)
The above statement, "She is a true
talent." is just another in the string of paranormal and ghostly
incidents happening to me since my writing of Ghosts of Valley Forge
and Phoenixville and joining the Chester County Paranormal Research
Society. Though I can't prove it, of course, here is my
understanding of the background and appearance of the above
line on my prior website.
1. First, I did not add this line to
my
website. My initial thought
that was that some kind hacker
had hacked
into my website to tell the world I was a
true talent. Very nice
I thought, but I didn't really
want people hacking into my site--even if it were
possible for this kind of thing.
2. So I went to my home computer, where this site was created,
to look at the actual page. Interestingly enough, the same
words appear inside the program at my home--only each
word is on it's own independent line, rather than
in sentence form as it shows up on the internet site.
3. No one has been inside my home to add
such a thing to my site. No one.
I live alone with my husband and he is
only e-bay literate. He hasn't a clue about opening a FrontPage
application or finding a particular file in anything I've created.
4. The font of the line is one that I'd
not used on my website...(but now I will!) New Note: When I updated my
website (months later) I find that the font that I mention is different
here than it is on the program--which is new. Again, I
haven't touched
it.
So where did it come from? I'm shrugging
here. I guess I should add that other things are happening in
conjunction with this--lights flashing, other text computer glitches at
my workplace, an easy button (Staples) that every so often, for no
reason, likes to say: That was easy... I'm open to theories, but for
now, I believe it was my high-spirit committee. (I use a pendulum and
that info was given to me.) I'm certainly open to real-life answers.
I'm
leaving it on here--because....
after all....it's true.... :)
